All water events at both fortnightly junior activities and carnivals are monitored by proficient lifesavers. Any parent wishing to be involved in water safety must be a current financial member and have a Surf Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate.

There is an annual proficiency for each award. Proficiency tests are conducted during the early months of the season. We are always in need of parents who can assist with water safety.

All water safety volunteers operate under the direction of the Club Water Safety Officer.
